I write to clarify, not to argue. My work is practical scholarship: slow, careful, and evidence-based. I begin with the Qur’an. I bring forward only sahih hadith. I consult classical tafsīr and the juristic reasoning of the early schools. Then I try to explain the results clearly for a modern reader—especially those preparing for Hajj and Umrah.
Method & Standards
- Qur’an First: Text and context determine the starting point.
- Sahih Hadith: I rely on sound narrations from established collections.
- Classical Tafsīr: Ibn Kathīr, al-Ṭabarī, al-Qurṭubī, Ibn ʿAshūr inform historical and linguistic context.
- Fiqh & Uṣūl: I explain differences of opinion and their practical implications.
My aim is not to issue fatwa. For personal rulings, consult a qualified Mufti. I offer clarity and references so readers can follow up with their local scholars.

Alongside running pilgrimage services, I have spent years compiling and writing articles about the rites of worship, common misunderstandings, and practical fiqh. This combination—research + field experience—helps me write answers that are both reliable and useful for pilgrims.
